This tracker will allow you to sign up for alerts on specific permits or addresses.

It’s relatively easy to use & you can have multiple alerts on any property or case. You will be emailed with updates or changes an owner has requested to a property via the permitting system, or code violations that have been reported. You enter a physical address and check for open cases, or submit your email address to get future cases sent to your inbox.

This is one of the tools we have had published in our Neighborhood Development Tool Kit planning document. The tool has been available for a while, but not all of the data at the City level had been added to it’s search capabilities until just recently.

The new tool is the result of a partnership with Austin Code Department and Civic Insight, a company that tracks development data for municipalities and presents the data in simple language and visualizations for the public.
