September Tree Mapping Event in Central East Austin

Join TreeFolks and the neighbors from the Central East Austin neighborhoods on Thursday, September 22th from 530 to 7 pm for a tree mapping workshop that will teach participants how to use the TreeFolks Austin Tree Map, a web-based, interactive, tree survey tool, to map their trees and help support our urban forest. Participants will learn how to ID and map their trees and how to use the map to keep track of their tree care activities, explore city tree data, share information with their communities, and promote the value of our urban trees. The TreeFolks Austin Tree Map is sponsored in part by The City of Austin’s Urban Forest Grant Program.

Meeting location: Poquito Creek Park at 1143 Northwestern Ave

Goal (Dependent on Accessibility): Provide training and map trees at Poquito Creek Park and nearby streets
