I’d like to share an invitation from the developer of the Grove at Shoal Creek for all interested citizens to join in a Parks Design Meeting that will happen this Saturday morning:
The Grove at Shoal Creek would like to invite EVERYONE in the community to a Park Design Meeting.
Saturday, December 12
10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Westminster’s Harris Bell Hall
Located at 4100 Jackson Ave., Austin, TX 78731
We’ll bring the breakfast tacos and the award-winning landscape design architects from Norris Design.
Community members of all ages (children definitely included!) are welcome to provide their thoughts on the best uses for the 18.62 acres of public park and open space at The Grove at Shoal Creek.
While The Grove is still under review at City Hall, this Park Design Meeting is a great opportunity for everyone in the community to help us determine what will be in the park and where it should go.
You’ll have a chance to look at elements like playgrounds, trails, picnic spaces, great lawns, natural space, the wet pond, and many others, and express your thoughts about both the character and location of these desired amenities within The Grove’s parks.
