Interesting read in the Monitor this morning. Since I’m still a novice with affordable housing, I’m curious what you all think.

- 75,000 housing units
- 35,000 of them being affordable
- 25% of the affordable ones having 2 or more bedrooms.
That seems like a ton of single occupancy housing, or is that normal?

33.9% of Austin households are people that live alone - pulled from to Chris Riley’s micro housing resolution below. The lack of smaller housing units is a big problem with our housing in Austin. We need a lot smaller housing options within our neighborhoods - more apartments, garage apartments, 4plexes, etc.
