2017 means the start of a new Austin City Council vote tracker for the year! At today’s city council meeting FAN is keeping track of Plaza Saltillo (postponed), Elysium Park - A 90 unit affordable housing development (because of opposition from nearby residents Rep. Celia Israel failed to support an application for tax credit funds as a way to stop the project. They’ve now found new funding), and a resolution that would allow a simple majority on the Historic Commission to force historic zoning on homeowners without their consent.
