The city is embarking on a process to redraw the city council district boundaries. Last month, the city began recruiting people to serve on the commission that will determine the boundaries and who can represent your area on city council.

If you are interested in this initiative, you can learn more [here](https://redistrictatx.org/commission).

Deadline for applying is September 30th.

You can also learn more about the process, what it entails, and what your time could be in the commission in an [upcoming Facebook live event](https://facebook.com/events/s/virtual-qa-independent-citizen/1964498040348774/?ti=as), Wednesday, July 22 at 6 pm.
