FAN Supports Proposition 1 on the May 2016 Ballot

Early voting on Proposition 1 begins today (Monday, April 25, 2016) and ends Tuesday, May 3, 2016. It will determine whether to keep the more stringent regulations City Council recently placed on TNCs (e.g. Uber and Lyft).

FAN just published a blog entry explaining what voting FOR or AGAINST the proposition would do. It provides a link to the League of Women Voters (LWV) Voters Guide and, based on January’s supermajority vote of the membership, recommends neighbors vote for the proposition.

FAN recognizes that neighborhoods don’t have opinions; the people who live in them do. We respect the full diversity of neighbors and their views. Neighbors should vote in the manner they believe best advances the interests of their fellow neighbors, the people who wish to become their neighbors, and the citywide community.
