As the city considers changes and calibrations to density bonus programs, Ryan Puzycki just published a Substack [article](https://www.ryanpuzycki.com/p/density-is-not-a-bonus) pointing out fundamental flaws in such programs. The article includes a favorable mention of an [alternative to density bonus programs](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aIH2kRN2Hy7LuT5lfWhQvN1jIiCP7z25XlMYkxj88qM/export?format=pdf) proposed by the Downtown Austin Neighborhood Association (DANA).
